Most children are drawn to a wooden toy car, truck or train from an age when they are learning to grasp. To begin their fine motor skills will be encouraged and as they develop they will learn to push them along the floor. Then they can learn to pull along toys, which could be a duck, a snapping crocodile or a bunny train.
