18+ Months

At 18 months a toddler is going to want to learn to do everything for themselves. Their mobility can be encouraged with cars, garages, planes or rockets. Shopping trollies and pushchairs get them moving and can teach caring for others.

You could also think about numbers and letters, what they look like, objects that are associated with different letters and count them. Farm sets and other animals could be used, to count, stack or put onto a train. Then move onto balancing toys, these can also be counted as they are loaded on and it will also teach logical thought processes too.
