Block Heads – Set 2

The concept behind these fantastic blocks is to help little ones embrace their emotions in a positive way through play. The idea is to understand that emotions affect the whole body; as little ones learn to accept, name and talk about their feelings.

The Block Heads are charming, if sometimes challenging, characters that give the perfect starting point for exploring emotions. Each character has been thoughtfully created to show the feeling represent through every part of their body from fidgety fingers to tense toes, wavy hair to knocking knees. Through exploring the Block Head characters, little ones will develop an understanding of their emotions and the impact they have on themselves and others. They will learn how to talk about and regulate their feelings.

This set includes 3 wooden blocks, 12 cards and a 16 page booklet which suggests activities, poems, games and songs to use alongside the blocks and build the characters. Set 2 explores the emotions excited, calm, anxious and jealous.
