Cutting Fruit Puzzle

Match the chopped fruit with the pictures.

It’s time to have some fun learning about fruit shapes and their colours inside and out. You can use the back of the board to ‘slice’ the fruit in half using the wooden knife, then turn over the board and see if you can match them to the completed images on the other side. The board has shapes cut to fit the pieces of fruit when they have been correctly matched.

Play food is the perfect way to develop an interest in the food that we eat, discussing food groups and encouraging healthy eating habits. It’s also a good way to introduce the origins of the food and broaden horizons.

Great for developing hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, visual perception skills and encouraging vocabulary.
