Cliffhanger – Marble Run

Drop the marbles and watch them swing around the gutters!

Get closer to the Quadrilla, wooden marble run, action and use the spiral gutters to create more run time and make your marbles race around the outside of the coloured blocks on their way to the bottom. Each of the coloured blocks has a different purpose and this stimulates and encourages logical and engineering thinking. At the end of the run use the catcher, which makes a whirling noise and stops the marbles running away at the end of each run.

This set supports the principles of STEAM development, helping spatial thinking and an understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths (STEAM). It can also develop your little ones cognitive thinking and improve their understanding of the cause and effect relationships.

Start by building one of the layouts pictured on the box. Watch the marbles navigate the blocks, spiral gutter, spiral twist and other features as they race down to the catcher. Then use your imagination to construct the pieces in a different formation.

This set includes 44 different pieces that can be set out in so many different ways. You also have 50 marbles, so you could test different routes to see which is the fastest.
