Which one of these makes the most noise?
A wonderful set of three beautifully illustrated musical instruments – a tambourine, a maraca and a set of castanets. The tambourine is illustrated with a gorgeous red parrot and accompanied with blue and yellow cymbals. The maraca is yellow, sporting a fish surrounded by the bubbles he has blown and the castanet has a calming blue owl depicted.
Percussion instruments are ideal for introducing little ones to music, learning to recognise sounds and developing a sense of rhythm. Great for developing hand-eye coordination and patience as tunes are learnt and repeated. Why not talk about the different instruments and which part of a band they belong to?
